Okay, I'm trying to find a place that sells Type2 pcmcia memory cards, the same type used in the Braillenote. I want to use them mostly in my pcs but figured that some fellow Braillenote users could tell me where to go, since I need to update that machine as well. I keep finding adapters and drivers but not the actual cards. When I do find cards, they're usually sd or for cameras or something. Also, does anyone know if the price went down on them? How much can they hold?

Still looking for those cards. I've got an amazing machine, a Del RX110, that I'll be bringing back soon and I wanna save my stuff from the other computer to put onto that one. So if anyone know where I can get those cards I'd really appreciate it.

Well, it looks like I found the place for all my compact flash card needs.

They've got 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 and even 32 gb cards. I just hope these are the normal type ii ones that I'm seeking or if not, that I can easily get an adapter for them that will work in my laptop. The weird thing is that even when sorting by a particular type, say 4gb, some are priced under $30 while others are well over $100. Why is this? Do some brands really offer better quality? Since I'll probably be using it mostly to store documents, music, maybe programs etc, can I just get a cheap one and not worry? I think the two I have are 2gb at the most and cost $50 at the time, so I'm really happy to see that the prices, for the most part, went down and I can get one with much higher memory.
